Process & Costs

To create a customer characteristic analysis, we take the names of your current customers, merge and match them with our master database, and find new prospects that look like your best customers.

Process

We start with your customer list, (name, address, sales history). You tell us what geographic area you would like your prospect list to cover, and how many new names (upper limit) you would like to receive.  We prepare your list for analysis by geocoding your customers, to accurately map their physical location. Then, we append data to draw a complete picture of your current customers. From that we create a "best customer profile". Your prospect list is created by identifying households or businesses that match your profile but are not currently customers.

For consumer lists, we append demographic and lifestyle data. For business lists, we append data useful for profiling, such as age of business, size in sales and number of employees, and SIC and NAICS codes.

Then the fun begins. Seasoned analysts look for patterns… connections… insights. The result is a profile that tells us not just who your best customers are, but why - and better still, how to reach more households or businesses just like them.

You'll receive:

  • A summary report of the analyst's findings.

  • A color-coded map showing geographic location of current and prospective customers.

  • A targeted prospect mailing list (in spreadsheet format) you may use for up to one year.

Costs

Several variables affect pricing. A customer characteristic analysis, starting from a clean database and yielding a mailing list of 1000 names in one geographic area, costs as little as $4,000 depending on the size and complexity of your customer data files. Add more names for as little as $135/1000. Now that’s affordable data mining.

If you wish the enhanced database returned to you, there is an additional fee to cover the licensing and handling required to release proprietary data appended to the customer information you provided us. The fee is typically under $1750.
